Hammerfall has been one of the Horde's least outfitted outposts since its liberation as an orc internment camp. On the very fringe of Lordaeron territory, it was overlooked for retrofitting during Garrosh Hellscream's reign as Warchief. In spite of this, it has been the staging grounds for Horde forces during numerous conflicts with the more fortified Stromgarde over the years.
Now, with the Argus hanging in the sky, a lone deathguard has been reassigned from the front lines. As a one-man observational team, he is to report on the surrounding landscape and any activity within the greater area. A grandiose task for even a properly equipped team, he must seek friends and allies among the rest of the Horde if he hopes to secure the southern-most border of Forsaken lands.

Temmond Bradshaw knew that his mission was one of isolation. The reports of his predecessors, those who had held this seemingly easy position before him, had been sparse and presumptuous. The reports of each of their deaths had held little more information, too. What little he could glean informed him that the Highlands were not to be trifled with alone. The orcs of Hammerfall were not an amicable group. They were old veterans set in routines they'd held for decades and the prejudices of their allies that came with them. No, they would tolerate his presence but they would not help him. Temmond needed allies if he was to excel at his assignment; he would be damned if he wasn't going to produce the best results regardless of his post.
He penned a letter to the only task force he had heard of as he had traveled down from the Undercity.
"To the Head of the Undercity Nexus,
I write to you now on assignment from Hammerfall. In my travels, I have caught wind of your network of compatriots. I wish to requisition a moment of your time to discuss the potential of my new station here on the fringe of Lordaeron territory. I believe, with proper fortification, we can weaken not only the Alliance's foothold here in the Highlands but their own defenses along the Wetlands.
Regards, Temmond Bradshaw"
